We’re delighted to introduce you to Best Start Family Hub (Eliot Bank), part of Lewisham’s Best Start Family Hubs – a warm, welcoming space for families with children and young people aged 0–19 (or up to 25 for those with SEND).
Family Hubs exist to help families connect, grow and thrive, offering the right support, in the right place, at the right time. Whether you’re expecting a baby, navigating the early years, or supporting an older child or teenager, the hub is a place to turn to for advice, guidance and connection.
At Eliot Bank, you’ll find access to a range of professionals including family navigators, early years practitioners, health visitors and midwives, alongside support on topics like benefits and employment. There’s a genuine open-door welcome – come along to a stay-and-play session, join a course or group, or simply drop in for a chat with a member of staff. The hub also welcomes community groups to run their own sessions and activities within the building.
