See what we are learning about this term by reading our termly newsletter.
Swimming: Swimming will be on Wednesdays.
Please remember that your child will need a swimming hat, and as the weather gets colder, a suitable coat.
Outdoor PE will be on Tuesday. We are lucky to have a coach who is going help us develop our skills!
Your child will need navy shorts, a white, round neck t-shirt and trainers or plimsolls. Plain navy tracksuit bottoms are required for outdoor PE. Shorts must be plain and above the knee (no buckles or zips). No items of denim or vests are allowed.
We recommend PE kits are brought in to school and kept in school for the half term.

Thank you for your support with the children’s home learning so far, it really makes a difference!
There are lots of different ways you could support your child in their learning at home. Here are just a few ways;
Reading: please continue to support your child to read daily and keep a record of their reading their reading journal. The reading journals are checked weekly. Children should complete 1 journal activity each week, this will be collected in for marking on their allocated day.
Maths: maths homework will be set on a weekly basis via Mathletics. Children can log onto Mathletics via the following link:
Please take every opportunity to help your child learn their times tables and associated division facts (knowing that 4x5=20 so 20 ÷ 4 = 5) as this will greatly improve their maths skills.
Encourage you child to have a go at the Maths challenge that is published in the Eliot Bank weekly and here.
Please click here to access some Take Away Tasks for your child to work on at home. The activities are all related to this term's topic. Children can bring them back in to school to share with their teacher and their class mates.
