Lewisham Swimming Gala

Eliot Bank took part in the Lewisham Swimming gala last Friday. The children were all very excited and gave 100% effort in all events.

It was a long afternoon, but they cheered each other on and worked together as a great team. Eliot Bank came 3rd!

Well done to everyone who took part, and a special well done to Klippa who came first in the Year 6 girls category.

Blackheath Football - 25th November 2017

On Saturday morning, Eliot Bank FC played football on a freezing cold Blackheath Common. The girls put in a sterling effort for their first games of the season. However, luck was against them and they lost both games. Annie had to dash before the final team photo! The boys won their first match against John Stainer. They put in a valiant effort in their second game, but lost to a tough opponent. Both the boys and girls showed fantastic teamwork and encouraged each other throughout the matches.

Match Report written by Lili, Y5KA

First we played Gordonbrock, the team played really well but we were unlucky to lose 2-0. Even though it was cold we didn't give up. The next school we played, Dorrel ran with the ball and passed it to Harvey who smashed it into the net.
