Last Wednesday we went to the Maths 24 Challenge at St Winifred’s Infant School. There were 10 schools competing and we had to play six 3 minute rounds. We were given cards with different numbers on them and we had to work out how to make different totals. Our score was 101, which was brilliant and we each received a certificate and small prize.
Next week, (17th – 21st March), is National Science and Engineering Week (NSEW) and to get us off to a great start today KS1 and KS2 had a very special Science Assembly full of experiments. Our Year 4 School Council representatives were lucky enough to be invited to visit the Lord Mayor of Lewisham on Friday 28th February. Sir Steve Bullock gave the children an opportunity to see the Council Chambers and ask him questions about his job.
